| supportline If you would like to talk about how you are feeling and live in Auckland (NZ) our Supportline phone number is (09) 378 4060 where you may speak to qualified counsellors. If you would prefer talking face-to-face, that can be arranged with them here too. Fees for that are on a sliding scale depending on your income. Sharing their experience with others has assisted many women going through the grieving progress and set them on the road to healing. This can be via the internet on our Bulletin Board at www.everybody.co.nz. You can email us at support@miscarriagesupport.org.nz. Many people ask for further medical information but all we have is already on the website. We do not have access to medical professionals for consultations. We do cover as many miscarriage issues on this website as possible, so that information may be enough in itself for you, as often just knowing what you are feeling is normal can be a revelation. Our aim is to empower rather than rescue and give hope for healing, as well as validating your grief for the birth and death of your baby. Subsequent pregnancies can be an anxious time after a miscarriage, so when you are pregnant again see our information on ‘Subsequent Pregnancies’ under the ‘Miscarriage’ heading and the Bulletin Board ladies are very supportive too at this time. If you live in New Zealand but outside Auckland contact your closest Miscarriage Support Group, CAB for miscarriage support information, your GP, Midwife, Pregnancy Centre, church or friends for a recommendation. Support on the internet (also see other websites and recommended books under Resources. |
